Megan Elizabeth Kitchen, 17, of Smithville, MO, passed away, Friday, December 12, 2008.

She was born on October 14, 1991 in Rockford, Illinois. Megan attended Park Hill School District and began her sophomore year at Smithville High School where she was currently a Junior. She was a great student, who loved her family, friends, and life. Megan enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing.

Megan was preceded in death by her Papa George.

She is survived by her father, Roger Kitchen, Rockford, Illinois; mother and step-father, Tom and Lori Kissinger, of the home; brothers and sisters, Alicia Kitchen, Kristi, Ashley and Ben Kissinger; grandparents, William and Norma Kitchen, Gene and Pat Soergel, and Clara Kissinger; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 17^th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Platte City, MO.

Burial: I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithville.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
