Finis “Mike” Lynn Marshall, 76, of Gladstone, formerly of Smithville, MO, passed away July 31, 2023. 

He was born on March 27, 1947, to George and Cathaleen (Henry) Marshall in Eldorado Springs, MO.  Mike grew up in Eldorado Springs and graduated from Eldorado Springs High School. 

On September 3, 1968, he was united in marriage to Evelyn Margaret Matthews.  After their marriage they lived in Avondale, MO and later Cotter, AR.  In 1983, they moved to Smithville where they made their home.  Mike worked for Major Lumber in Smithville for many years.  He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, being a jokester and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his brothers Tuffy Marshall and Melvin Marshall. 

Mike is survived by his sons Michael Marshall and Monte Marshall; his daughter Michelle Rouchka and husband George; and Steve Hensley and wife Terri who later joined the family.  His grandchildren Ashley Karl and husband Joey, Rylan Rouchka, Josie Rouchka and Logan Marshall and also James and Emma Hensley.  His great grandchildren, Blaze Karl and Vayda Hensley.  He is also survived by his brother Bill Marshall; sisters Donna Gayle Watkins, Madeline Parrish, Dixie Haler, Carolyn McGuire and husband Red; sisters-in-law Marge Marshall and Frances Marshall; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.   

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Virgil City Cemetery, El Dorado Springs, MO.
