Phyllis Jamison, 88, of Platte City, MO passed away on September 24, 2023.

She was born on December 16, 1934 to John Clifford and Lucille Abby (Walker) Martin in Atchison, KS. Phyllis grew up in the Atchison area where she attended school.

On June 17, 1960 she was united in marriage to George A. Jamison. After their they lived in the Platte City area where they made their home.

Phyllis worked for Hallmark Cards for 25 years. She loved gardening, fishing, and going to the Casino.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Marilyn Kay Gibson; granddaughter, Kelli Knighton; grandsons, Greg Jamison and Justin Heide; and son-in-law, Jon Hines.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, George; children, Vickie (Ron) Green, Lynn (Chris) Sylva, Greg Jamison, Kevin (Kelly) Jamison, Julie Hines, and Shelly (Craig) Arnold; grandchildren, Carrie Weimer, Trey Green, Jerry Rogers, Jason Gibson, Cory Jamison, Zach Jamison, Kyle Knighton, Kole Knighton, Trent Arnold and Tyler Arnold; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Private Family Graveside Services will be held at Platte City Cemetery in Platte City.
