I will miss you always calling me your "Birthday Present". We had such good times growing up on the farm. You hitting me on head with an axe at Aunt Hazel's home in tool shed, no damage, just broke skin, drew blood. Scared everyone.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to all of the Adkins family on the loss of Donnie. I have such good memories of him from 50 years ago. The pool games he and Bill played, the nights I cooked breakfast for the three of us--all filled with jokes and laughs. Donnie always treated me with respect and I really appreciated that.
